Goat milk for atopic dermatitis

Actually, about the diet and the question arose. I was recommended to drink goat's milk, because it is very healthy and less allergenic than cow's. Can you tell me if this is true and how to use it correctly? And what can you say about bananas for a child with allergies?

Good afternoon. You are right, with allergies, the factor of hereditary transmission plays a significant role. So, in cases where both parents are allergic, a child is born with an allergy with a probability of 80%. Often, it is simply the body's reaction to allergens that is transmitted, and not the actual allergy to anything. For example, if a mother is allergic to pollen, this does not mean that the child will be allergic to pollen.

For the mother of a child who suffers from allergies, two things are primarily important: breastfeeding and a diet that excludes foods with allergenic properties. This diet is standard for a nursing mother, it will be prescribed to you by an obstetrician-gynecologist who led your pregnancy. Such children need to carefully monitor the gradual introduction of natural products into the diet (cereals, boiled meat, fruits and vegetables). Be sure to consult with your allergist, as well as keep a food diary for your baby.

Dairy products themselves have a high allergenic potential. At a young age, it would be better for children to refrain from using them. It is better to give them a try to a child after 3 years, when the immune system is already sufficiently formed. After all, before this age, the baby's immunity can react with an allergy even to products that are safe from these points of view. As for calcium, which is so rich in dairy products, I would like to say that they are still not the only sources of this trace element. So, lean meat, cereals also contain this microelement.

As for bananas, they are allergenic foods. The fact is that they contain the amino acid tryptophan, from which our body forms serotonin, which is one of the main stimulants of allergic reactions. Therefore, children suffering from allergies should not use this product during periods of exacerbation.
