What can you eat with a food allergy

Leading an active lifestyle, people do not monitor their daily diet. In a hurry and bustle, we survive on dry food or fast food, washing it all down with soda, and run on about our business. And now, having come home already in the evening, and some even closer to the night, we gorge ourselves “from the belly”. This can cause irreparable damage to our health. The entire gastrointestinal system suffers, malfunctions begin in the liver, which becomes unable to remove toxic substances from the body. These complications lead to food allergies. With such a disease, it is required to follow the instructions for a strict diet and refrain from eating certain foods.

Diet for seafood allergies

This type of allergy is the most common. In the treatment of this disease, the main condition is the complete exclusion of fish and seafood, in any form: dried, canned, in cheese, in meat. It is also worth abandoning a variety of dietary supplements, which include marine proteins. The patient needs to stop eating smoked meats, salty, fatty foods, various additives and spices. All these components have a very irritating effect on the gastric mucosa, which leads to its atrophy.

But, having excluded fish from your diet, as the main source of phosphorus and iodine, it is necessary to compensate for the lack of these useful elements. You can eat the following with a food allergy to fish:

  • Feijoa;
  • Cauliflower;
  • Rowan;
  • Meat;
  • Vegetables (leaf);
  • Seeds;
  • Soya beans;
  • Nuts.

Try to cook your meals only from dietary meat. Give preference to vegetable casseroles, and steamed food. You can use the example of the following recipe:

  • Chicken and beef roll. It will take 250 grams of beef to beat off and salt. 100 grams of chicken fillet, finely chopped. Put such minced meat on beef and add chopped nuts in the amount of two tablespoons, and a spoonful of cedar oil. Twist the meat into a roll, tighten it with cooking string, and fry in butter.

Diet for cereal allergies

In people with this type of allergy, the reaction occurs to a protein found in grain products. Such patients should exclude the following products: wheat dishes, bread in any form, barley, millet, oats, semolina, pasta, coffee substitutes, ice cream, beer, vodka, soup mixes, sausages, sauces and ketchups. Be very careful in studying the composition of the product you buy.

As we can see, a lot of things are banned. But do not be upset, because there is an alternative to all these components. Make your own bread from soy flour, which is no worse than natural. You can add rice or cornstarch to it. Eat more potatoes, legumes and root vegetables. Bananas also have a huge amount of healthy carbohydrates. Be sure to eat fish dishes - sources of vitamin E. Take care of the presence of milk and cottage cheese in the house, which will supply calcium and fluoride to your body. Eat fiber-rich vegetables and fruits. Be sure to have meat on the table.

Taking into account all the recommended products, in case of food allergies, we can recommend the following menu:

  • Crab meat. Bring water to a boil in a saucepan, adding vinegar, salt, cloves and bay leaf. Let cool. Cut a few onions into rings and fill them with this marinade. Let the onion soak for about two hours. Take about 300 grams of canned crab meat, cut it up and put it on a dish. Pour everything with olive oil, put onions on top and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Chicken cutlets. A kilogram of chicken fillet must be thoroughly washed, chopped into small pieces and ground. Add 100 grams of okara and 50 grams of soy milk. Put the formed cutlets and pour them with chicken broth (200 grams), brush with butter and fry in a pan.

Menu for milk allergies

Despite the fact that milk and all kinds of dairy products are considered the most important source of useful trace elements and calcium, in this case they are strictly prohibited. Under the ban and cakes, ice cream, pies, chocolate. Focus on eating meat, fish and eggs. Calcium is found in cereals, nuts and beans. Any dairy product can be replaced with its soy counterpart. They are perfectly absorbed by the body and do not contain lactose. Use this milk to make cereals, soups and milk drinks.

Plant protein is found in tofu. This type of product can be used raw, fried or pickled. There are many recipes for its preparation, such as turkey with tofu as an appetizer, champignons with cheese, or meat salad with tofu. Don't forget to make your own vegetable broths and casseroles more often.

Egg allergy diet

If a person suffers from a food allergy to eggs, then a cross-reaction to chicken meat may occur. Therefore, any chicken food products and dishes with their use are excluded: poultry meat, eggs, mayonnaise, sauces, cakes, ice cream. The following are recommended for use:

  • Fish, mushrooms;
  • Rabbit meat;
  • Raisin;
  • legumes;
  • Cocoa;
  • Seeds, avocado;
  • Garlic;
  • Seaweed.

An excellent substitute for chicken is soy meat. And when baking homemade bread or other products, use okara or soy flour instead of eggs. Eat fish broth daily. Experiment with vegetables and fruits.

food diary

Many nutritionists and allergists advise keeping a food diary. Its essence lies in the fact that all consumed products per day should be added, with an exact indication of the time of admission, quantity, body reaction and the alleged allergen product. It is conducted for at least three months, so that the accuracy is maximum. Passes are not allowed, even if you just had an apple snack. Such information will help you to find the cause of the disease on your own, and to eliminate it soon. And for the doctor, this is useful in that he can immediately begin treatment.
